ETA M & E clinches  AX 134 – Dubai International Airport MEP works for Concourse 3 Expansion Phase II Project

Since 1997, beginning with the Renovation and Expansion of Terminal 1, ETA–M&E Division has secured a continuous flow of new contracts which include Hangars for Emirates Airlines, one of the world’s biggest Hangar Complex for Maintenance of Aircrafts including A380.

Based on our excellent continued track record with Government of Dubai- Department of Civil Aviation, ETA–M&E Division has been awarded Electromechanical works for the most prestigious AX134–Dubai International Airport Concourse 3 (C3) against stiff competition.

Concourse 3 is an extension and continued development of Concourse 1 and 2.  It is a fully airside structure and is connected to 2 major public levels of Terminal 3 via an Automated People Mover (APM) in addition to Vehicular and Baggage Handling System utility tunnels.  

Concourse 3 is partially an underground structure comprising the APM stations (both arriving and departing) and extends above ground under a metal shell to accommodate 18 Nos. A380 & 2 Nos. other aircrafts.  C3 is connected by means of a special vertical transportation system (sky train) that acts as a unique feature in a central atrium.

The built-up area is approximately 528,000 Square meters and comprises EK lounges, 4 and 5 Star Hotels, Arrival and Departure levels including the Duty Free Shops.

 

The MEP services include provision of 30,000 TR Air conditioning with associated works, Electrical works covering 50MVA electrical load and Power Distribution, Plumbing, Drainage,  Building Management System, Fire fighting & Fire Alarm System, lighting System, Central Emergency Lighting System etc.

 


MEP  works at Dubai’s First Mono Rail

 

ETA M & E Division, Dubai has successfully completed MEP works at Dubai’s Mono Rail System which is claimed to be the first transport system of its kind in the Middle East

 

The Mono Rail connecting Dubai’s mainland and Atlantis Hotel at Palm Jumeirah has been flagged off on 6th May 2009. The driver less Mono Rail System travels along the trunk of the man-made islands from the Gateway Stations to Atlantis Hotel’s Aquaventure (water Park).

 

The monorail system services four stations Gateway, Trump Tower, Palm Mall and Atlantis Aquaventure but only the first and last stations are open. The journey between Gateway and Atlantis which are at either end of the monorail track, covering a distance of 5.45 km would take 8 minutes.

 

ETA M & E Division has executed the contract for design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of air conditioning and ventilation, electrical and fire alarm, plumbing, drainage and fire fighting works etc.

ETA-M&E, Abu Dhabi has been awarded the complete MEP works for “Cleveland Clinic, Abu Dhabi  (CCAD) which will be a 364-bed (scalable to 490-bed) multi-speciality hospital spread over plot area of 94,000 square meters  located on Sowwah Island - the capital's designated new Central Business District.

CCAD is being constructed with the objective of bringing world-class healthcare to the region as a unique and unparalleled extension of Cleveland Clinic located in Cleveland, Ohio, USA model.  CCAD will set a new benchmark in medical facilities around the world with its “7 STAR” service and quality.

The hospital will have inpatient beds comprising of 256 Beds, 32 VIPs, 72 ICUs + 4 Royal suites.  In addition, there are 342 outpatient Rooms which includes treatment and exam rooms plus parking for space of 3,100 Cars. The hospital will be organized into the five institutes of Digestive Disease, Eye, Heart & Vascular, Neurological, and Respiratory & Critical Care, to offer an advanced range of tertiary/quaternary medical services.

The MEP technologies are being used in the Design/Equipment selection/Installation which are significant contributory factor achieving the Green Building LEED Certification Gold Rating. 

The state-of-the-Art Electromechanical services include 25,000TR HVAC cooling load, Electrical works covering 62 MW electrical load and Power Distribution, 12 Nos. 2MW Generators, Plumbing, Drainage, Building Management System, Medical Gas System, Fire fighting & Fire Alarm System, lighting System, Low Current System including Nurse Call System, Lighting Control and dimming system, Master Clock System, Public Address and Audio Visual System  etc

 

Sheikh Khalifa Specialist Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah 

The 248-bed, 699,700 sq ft Sheikh Khalifa Specialist Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, is expected to be the state-of-the-art medical facility in the area.

Dhs.555 Million health facilities is part of President H H Sheikh Khalifa binZayed Al Nahyan’s support for development of infrastructure in remote regions in the UAE.

The first of its kind project will have an initial capacity of 248 beds and expansion in future will bring total capacity to 400 beds. The 6-storey hospital will be built to international standards. It will house wards for cancer and cardiovascular disease in addition to an emergency unit

The MEP services include 7,600 TR water cooled 11kV Chillers with associated works, Electrical works covering 16 MW electrical load and Power Distribution, Plumbing, Drainage,  Building Management System, Medical Gas System, Fire fighting & Fire Alarm System, lighting System, Low Current System including Nurse Call System, Lighting Control and dimming system, Master Clock System, Public Address and Audio Visual System etc.

 

Chennai

 

Since 2003, beginning with the Delhi Metro Rail Project Phase I, ETA Engineering, Delhi has secured a continuous flow of new contracts from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for Delhi Metro Rail Projects.

Based on our excellent continued track record on Metro Rail Projects, ETA Engineering, Chennai has been awarded  Chennai Metro Rail Project Phase 1 against stiff competition from the Global Bidders.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has been appointed as the Prime Consultants for Phase -1 of the Project. ETA has been maintaining a long and successful relationship with DMRC for being associated with them in their various packages of Delhi Metro Rail Projects for the past 8 years.

The scope of works includes Design, build, coordination, procurement, installation, testing and successful commissioning of Tunnel Ventilation System for 19 Under Ground Stations on Corridor 1 (Washermanpet  - Chennai Central - Airport) & Corridor 2 (Chennai Central – Anna Nagar – St. Thomas Mount) and the tunnel length for Corridor 1 is 14.3 km and Corridor 2 is 9.695 km.

 

The tunnel ventilation system shall consists of Track way exhaust system including fans, dampers and steel duct works, interface of the SCADA and associated electrical power supply and distribution system.
